Anelya Kamiyeva 2nd year student of L.N.Gumilyov University, major of International Relations, member of STUDIK team took a part in TEDx* ENU conference on 14th of March.
TEDx ENU is a first ever independently organized conference held in ENU in a style of TED. The theme was “A spectrum of perspectives”. Anelya as an experienced volunteers gave a speech on the perspectives of volunteering in Kazakhstan.
She gave a quick explanation of volunteering activity itself and a brief history of its appearance in Kazakhstan, told about an organization that coordinates volunteers in Astana. Anelya shared her personal point of view about volunteering as the way to perceive the world. As soon as volunteers do not gain any financial support for their work, they get benefits as skill development, communication and fun. Anelya does the same in her daily life. She loves to take all the best from what life prepares her and she is not willing to get money from those opportunities.
She sees the world differently, in altruistic way, and this idea is worth spreading.
